Yumm Sauce (Copy Cat Recipe)
One of my favorite "fast food" restaurants is Cafe Yumm! If you haven't been there before, get in your car and drive there RIGHT NOW! Their food is fresh - healthy - original - fast! And they make make the most amazing sauce...YUMM sauce that goes on just about everything they make. You can buy it there (which I have been doing for years like a chump) or you can make it yourself (yes, thanks to me - no gloating here 😜)! After MANY failed attempts I believe I have mastered the YUMM sauce recipe!
YUMM Sauce:
1/2 cup avocado oil
1/2 almond flour or pulp from almond milk
1 container of silken soft tofu
1 can coconut milk
1/4 cup lemon juice or 3 large lemons
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon curry
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon coriander
2 cloves of garlic
1/4 cup nutritional yeast
Place all ingredients into a blender and puree until combined. Place in the frig to thicken for 8 hours or overnight. Can be stored in the frig for 7-10 days. By the by, this makes A LOT of sauce (about 4 cups), so you can easily half the recipe or even quarter it.
Use in place of mayo on sandwiches, salad dressing, on top of roasted potatoes or vegetables, add to burritos in place of sour cream, and of course add to your homemade YUMM bowls! I like a little extra kick with my sauce, so I always top off my sauce with rooster sauce (aka sriracha ).
ENJOY!
